The ruhrSUMMIT is our lighthouse event and brings the German start-up scene right to your doorstep - this time even digitally! As a major event with over 5,000 participants last year, we bring together on your screen promising start-ups, investors and established companies from all over Germany. As a tribute to our industrial region, we focus on B2B topics. The heart of this event is a fantastic stage programme with top-class speakers and the big start-up expo with digital networking opportunities.

At our hackathons, we bring together motivated and creative people as well as start-up teams who spend a weekend working on solutions for a predefined topic. Whether in small groups, start-up teams or on your own - with the help of mentors and company representatives you can realise some great projects in quick succession, develop new ideas independently and maybe even lay a building block for your professional future.

This matching format is aimed exclusively at start-ups and established companies - invitation only. Participating companies define very specific challenges in advance, to which start-up teams can apply with a corresponding solution approach or even a prototype. The three most convincing applications are invited to the big pitch event for an opportunity to win over the company with their technology. The winning team is awarded a pilot project and a contract.
